Finally feeling a little better today and it’s a beautiful spring day (LOVE the spring), so we decided to take Noah to the park for the first time.  We’ve actually been on a quest to find a park with swings for weeks… where did all the swings go!?!?   It’s so weird… where I grew up (in Amarillo), there were parks everywhere and playgrounds galore.  But here in KC, I don’t know if they just don’t exist or the fact that there are actual trees and hills here, unlike good ole West Texas, makes them harder to find.  But alas, thanks to Dana, we finally found a park with baby swings.  Noah actually didn’t like the swings at first.  He cried even when Stephen and I swung with him in our laps on the big swings.  But he hasn’t been himself today anyway (teething tantrums in full effect right now).  The slide, however, changed everything, as you can see above and below.  When we put him at the top, he would lean forward and try to push himself down.  (Don’t worry grandparents, we held onto him the entire time lest he topple.)   He laughed and laughed and laughed – it was awesome.  After the slide, the swing was acceptable and we finally even got the cackle laugh on the swing.   We had fun… nice to see the sun.
